Registration for PSBN Symposium Presenters
The 2016 Pacific States Biennial North American (PSBN) printmaking symposium is free for artists and the community to attend.
About the Symposium
The Pacific States Biennial North American (PSBN) printmaking symposium will celebrate over thirty years of PSBN exhibitions through a program of community accessible, printmaking-based events, workshops, demos, and exhibitions throughout the Big Island of Hawaiʻi. Past award winning artists Michael Barnes, Michelle Martin, Matt Egan, and Marilee Salvator will contribute to a rich program of activities celebrating printmaking on the Big Island of Hawaiʻi. This year’s PSBN juror, Lloyd Menard will be also in residence through the symposium and will be printing an original print for inclusion in the Art Department’s second volume of its Artist Print Edition Project. Additional artists will be invited to participate in exhibitions and an international portfolio exchange.
Support for the PSBN Symposium is provided by the Hawaiʻi Community Foundation Laila Twigg-Smith Art Fund, Howard and Yoneko Droste Bequest, East Hawaiʻi Cultural Center, Donkey Mill Art Center, and the UH Hilo Campus Center Student Activities Board.
