Philosophy Minor
The Philosophy Minor is designed to develop critical thinking and writing skills and expose students to Eastern and Western philosophical traditions. It's an excellent way for students in other majors to explore the joys of knowledge for its own sake and show their familiarity with the major ethical issues of today.
Requirements (15 credits):
- PHIL 211 History of Ancient Philosophy (3) or PHIL 213 History of Modern Philosophy (3) or PHIL 313 19th Century Philosophy (3)

- PHIL 412 Philosophy of Nature (3)
- PHIL 390 History & Phil of Science (3)

- PHIL 315 Ethical Theory (3)

- PHIL 329 Environmental Ethics (3)
