Spring 2025 Campus ID Hours
In order to receive the benefits and services that UH Hilo has to offer, your campus ID card must be validated each semester that you are enrolled or employed at UH Hilo. Campus ID Validations are free.
New Student Orientation Week (01/06-10/2025) Hours: Walk-in Services only.
- Monday, January 6th, 2025: Closed for Orientation Preparation.
- Tuesday, January 7th, 2025: 9:00am – 2:00pm
- Wednesday, January 8th, 2025: 9:00am – 2:00pm
- Thursday, January 9th, 2025: 9:00am –4:00pm
- Friday, January 10th, 2025: 9:00am – 4:00pm
- Closed over the Weekend.
In-Person Services: Schedule your in-person appointment via the Campus Center Lava Landing Appointments webpage. We are open Monday through Friday from 8:30AM-9:00PM and Saturday 5:30PM-9:00PM. Closed on holidays and weekends. Appointment time slots are based on staff availability and are offered on a first-come first-served basis. All incoming and returning University of Hawaiʻi students, faculty, and staff are entitled to a campus ID card for $10.00. You must bring a government issued photo ID and be registered for classes at the time of your appointment.
Online Requests: Students are able to submit an online request for their new Campus ID card via our Online Campus ID Card Request form. The review and creation process may take up to two (2) business days after confirmation of payment has been made.

Da Lava Tube
Da Lava Tube Free gameroom play for UH Hilo Students! Da Lava Tube (Gameroom) at Lava Landing in Campus Center room 203 is open during the weekdays from 8:30AM-9:00PM and Saturday 5:30PM-9:00PM. Closed on holidays, Sundays, and summer/winter breaks. Students can sign up for (1) hour time slots through the Lava Landing Appointments Website-or- students can come by to see what's available in-person to play billiards, ping-pong, Nintendo Switch games, and darts! All UH Hilo students can participate and play games free of charge this academic year. However, all other campus students will be charged a fee to play.
