October 5, 2014 Fall Donor Appreciation Event at the Pineapple Room
In October the annual fall donor appreciation event was held at Alan Wong’s Pineapple Room in Macy’s Ala Moana. The event was a huge success with donors enjoying food served by Chef Wong, his staff, and Dr. Lorna Tsutsumi.
This year the Adopt-a-Beehive with Alan Wong program was featured in the October/November Isssue of Hana Hou magazine in an article named Hanai Hives.

Hawaiʻi Food and Wine Festival - “Pāʻina On The Pier” September 5, 2014
This year the Adopt-A-Beehive with Alan Wong program was part of the 4th Annual Hawaiʻi Food and Wine Festival. The event, Paina on the Pier, was held at the Honolulu Fish auction and provided the opportunity for chefs to meet local farmers and producers.
