Aerial view of part of the 5 km-wide, ice-filled caldera of Mount Wrangell, a 4,317-m (14,163 ft)-high andesite shield volcano. Historical activity consists of several minor eruptions in the early 1900s. An active fumarole can be seen on the caldera rim.
