Gratitude During The Holidays
As we begin to wind down another semester, it's a perfect time to think about all there is to be grateful for. Research has shown that, by practicing acts of gratitude, one can improve mental and physical health, gain more sound sleep and enhance the quality of friendships. PostivePsychology.com offers a few simple ways to practice gratitude.
Still Here For You
Even though the fall semester is coming to a close, the staff at Counseling Services are still here for you. We'll be keeping normal office hours and be available in-person, on the phone or online for students still within the state of Hawaii. For information about appointments or other support, check us out online.
Mental Health Is Important
Mindwise has a great collection of screenings available to the UH Hilo Community. Sometimes, we may fall into habits we wouldn't have otherwise. A self-assessment can determine any areas that need special attention. If you wish to speak with someone further, please contact Counseling Services at (808) 932-7465 or email: uhhcouns@hawaii.edu.
