Calling All Mental Health Advocates
Have you had a positive outcome as a result of seeking mental health assistance? Do you know anyone who has and wants to share their experience? Now is your chance. The Anti-Stigma Video Project hopes to gather personal statements from students, faculty and staff to help others understand the benefits that come from seeking help.
Counseling Services
UH Hilo Counseling Services is ready to help you be the best you can be. This semester they are offering online counseling sessions via a secure platform in addition to in-person sessions. Plus, Walk in Wednesdays and 30-minute phone check-ins will continue. The COVID-19 support group Zoom sessions are also available each week. With so many FREE options, how can you not take advantage?!
Self-Screening For Success
Mindwise has a great collection of confidential screenings available to the UH Hilo Community. A self-assessment can help you to determine areas of life that need special attention or could indicate the need for professional support. Understanding your situation can help set you up for success.
