Beach, Kahe, Oʻahu. During World War II, the navy constructed a small recreational complex at the west end of Kahe Beach. After the war, in 1946, Francis J. Manner of Waiʻanae leased the land and the buildings from Campbell Estate, and that section of the beach was called Manner's Beach.
