Place, Nuʻu-anu, Honolulu, named for William L. Lee, Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of the Kingdom of Hawaiʻi under Ka-mehameha III and IV. He drew up a legal code, promulgated school laws, and served in the division of lands known as the Great Māhele. (TM.)
