Beach, surf site, west coast, Niʻihau. Narrow calcareous sand beach between Kalanaei and Paliuli Points. Low vegetated dunes line the backshore, and patch reefs and sand-bars front the beach. The surf site is off the beach. Puʻuwai, the only inhabited village on the island, is at the south end of the beach. Lit., heart.
