Poʻolipilipi
/ Poʻo-lipi.lipi /n., A rain associated with Kalihi, Oʻahu, and Hilo, Hawaiʻi (For. 5:119). Literally, adzelike head, said to be so called because this heavy rain forced the people to spend so much time sleeping that their heads were sharpened as though by an adze.
