  • 1. Point, Kīlauea, Kauaʻi. Part of Kīlauea Point National Wildlife Refuge. On March 8, 1988, 91 acres of Crater Hill and 38 acres at Mōkōlea Point were added to the refuge. The Doran Schmidt family donated the Crater Hill property, and the Mōkōlea Point property was purchased from Ocean Vistas Consortium for $1.6 million.
  • 2. Dive site, point, Kahakuloa, Maui. At Mōkōlea Point north of Kahakuloa.
  • 3. Island (.46 acres, 50 feet high), Pelekunu, Molokaʻi.
  • 4. Island, Kailua, Oʻahu. Solitary island at the north end of Kailua Bay that is part of the Hawaiʻi State Seabird Sanctuary. Also known as Bird Island, Black Rock.
