n., The name of the goddess of fishes. She was the wife of Kuula, god of fishermen, and mother of Aiaiakuula. She was one of the Hina class of deities and is often called simply Hina: o Hinahele lau o Kuula na 'kua lawaia, mai Hawaii a Niihau. Hinahele and Kuula are the divinities of fishing from Hawaii to Niihau.
