Acquiring the Software
Free for UH Faculty and Staff
U.H. Systems Information Technology Services (ITS) has set up an Adobe licensing contract called the Enterprise Term License Agreement (ETLA) for the U.H. System. This contract provides all U.H. faculty and staff with the Adobe Acrobat Pro DC software until November 27, 2021. The software is intended for U.H. faculty and staff to generate, edit, and maintain PDF documents under A.D.A. compliance standards.
Adobe Acrobat Professional Highlights
Adobe Acrobat Professional is an optical character recognition (O.C.R.) system. It is used to convert scanned files, PDF files, and image files into editable/searchable documents.
