Effective Spring 2018, the Office of the Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs supports the admission of 10th graders from public and private high schools who meet the UH Hilo eligibility criteria.

This action is in alignment with current system Complete College America and P-20 initiatives focused on Early College and Running Start. This action is also in alignment with campus initiatives focused on outreach and better partnership with select K-12 organizations like the Department of Education and Kamehameha Schools.
