UH System Community Colleges & UH Hilo College of Agriculture, Forestry and Natural Resource Management
Approved Agricultural course articulation for the University of Hawaiʻi (UH) System community colleges by the UH Hilo College of Agriculture, Forestry, and Natural Resource Management (CAFNRM) - March 9, 2012 and revised May 13, 2016. Unless otherwise noted, a grade of C or better is required for the listed direct lower level (299 and below) course transfers to CAFNRM and those indicated as substitutions for upper level (300 and above) CAFNRM courses. Due to UH System policy the student must submit a request to the CAFNRM curriculum committee for the upper division substitutions to be recognized. This request is made in writing using the UH Hilo Request for modification of academic requirements form . Other modifications and exceptions may also be petitioned through the CAFNRM curriculum committee.

Courses numbered 100 and 200 at UH CCs count as 100 and 200 level courses at UH Hilo. Course modification forms may be required if the course will count towards an upper division requirement.
The number of successfully passed credits taken at the transfer institution are accepted for transfer at UH Hilo, even if the “equivalent” course at UH Hilo is assigned fewer credits.
