Notes

  1. "Types of Data" Class - Students must take at least 3 credits from DATA 465 /QBA 465 or DATA 470
  2. "Data Management and Analysis" Class - Students must take at least 3 credits from CS 475 and CS 475L , DATA 370 , or DATA 371 /MATH 371
  3. "Domain Emphasis" Class - Students must select a single domain track. Students may choose between three tracks: Computational (9 credits), Business (9 credits), and Statistics (13 credits).
  4. MATH 242 is included in the Statistics track as it serves as the prerequisite giving the necessary calculus background.
  5. MATH 371 is not eligible for the Statistics track if already taken for the Data Management and Analysis course.
  6. A C or better is required in all courses required for the major.
  7. At least 45 credits must be earned in courses at the 300- and 400- level.
