  1. "Types of Data" Class - Students must take at least 3 credits from DATA 465 /QBA 465 or DATA 470
  2. "Data Management and Analysis" Class - Students must take at least 3 credits from CS 475 and CS 475L , DATA 370 , or DATA 371 /MATH 371
  3. A C or better is required in all courses required for the major
  4. At least 45 credits must be earned in courses at the 300- and 400- level
  5. The Astronomy Track contains 18 credits of background courses needed as prerequisites for ASTR 250L and ASTR 260L
  6. Students pursuing the Astronomy Track may be able to seek instructor permission to waive ASTR 181 as a prerequisite for ASTR 250L
