Students must earn at least a 2.0 GPA in courses required for the major.
Students have the option to do the required nursing elective in years 2, 3, or 4.
MATH 100 and MATH 115 each meet the GE FQ & GE GQR Requirements. The Quantitative Reasoning course must be passed with a "C" grade of better.
Completion of all college prerequisite courses with a grade of "C" or better.
NURS 348 and NURS 375 both must be passed with a "C" grade or better.
RN to BSN students must complete: NURS 347-347L , NURS 350 , NURS 358 , NURS 361 , NURS 362 , NURS 375 , NURS 411-411L and NURS 457-457L .
Basic students who transfer into the BSN program must complete a minimum of 64 credits of UH Hilo nursing courses. These credits must include: NURS 347-347L , NURS 350 , NURS 351 , NURS 352L , NURS 353-353L , NURS 355-355L , NURS 357-357L , NURS 358 , NURS 455-455L , NURS456_456L [Course Info Not Available], NURS410_410L [Course Info Not Available], NURS 457-457L , NURS 459-459L .
IS 110 is not a Nursing application requirement.
MATH 100 is a prerequisite for NURS 203 to be taken in Year 2 Spring and is highly recommended that students take this course to fulfill the GQR requirement.
