Notes

  1. Students must earn at least a 2.0 GPA in courses required for the major.
  2. At least 45 credits must be earned in courses at the 300- and 400- level.
  3. Where appropriate and with the approval of the Geography Department Chair, one Special Topics Course (GEOG 494 ) may be substituted for a course under Core Courses or Physical Geography.
  4. Note: Students must take either GEOG 101 or ENSC 100 - GEOG 101 is certified for DP: Physical Science and ENSC 100 is certified for DB: Biological Science. If GEOG 101 is taken, students will need to choose a DB: Biological Science certified course for Year 2 Fall. If ENSC 100 is taken, students will need to choose a DP: Physical Science certified course for Year 2 Fall.
