Notes
- These courses are designated as GE HPP. Students must take one GE HPP course.
- KHWS 381A is offered in Fall and KHWS 381E is offered in Spring. Only one of the two is required for the degree. Students should select either course and take an elective the other semester.
- Students must earn credit for KHAW 490 and at least a 2.0 GPA in all other courses required for the major.
- At least 45 credits must be earned in courses at the 300- or 400- level.
- Students that begin their language track in HAW 101 and HAW 102 in Year 1 Fall and Spring may need to enroll in a Year 1 Summer KHAW 104 .
- First Level Hawaiian Language (4-16 credits) - Choose one of the following sequences:
- HAW 101 and HAW 102 and KHAW 103 and KHAW 104
- KHAW 103 and KHAW 104
- KHAW 108
- KHAW 133
- KHAW 190 - Course to be repeated with different sub-letter for a total of 8 credits (This course is not GL, DH or GE HPP certified, students will need to take additional courses to fulfill these GE requirements.)
- Second Level Hawaiian Language (4-8 credits) - Choose one of the following sequences:
