Notes

  1. Students must earn at least a 2.0 GPA in courses required for the major.
  2. The 12 credit Foundation Studio sequence (ART 121-124) should be completed during the first two years of study with ART 101 as a recommended elective.
  3. The total of upper division (300/400) course work, 30 credits, required for the B.A. in Art degree, may include subject areas outside of art.
  4. It is strongly recommended that intermediate drawing Art 221 be taken following the Foundation sequence (ART 121-124); repeatable for total of 9 credits.
  5. Art majors interested in BFA equivalent should plan to complete 15 hours of additional studio coursework.
