Early registration begins in November for the spring semester; and in April for the fall semester. All continuing classified students who do not have registration holds are eligible to register early. Because many courses fill quickly, continuing classified students should register as early as possible.
New students may begin registration according the registration schedule outlined at: hilo.hawaii.edu/registrar/RegistrationGuide.php
Late registration begins during the first week of instruction and ends at the end of the second week of instruction. A late registration fee will be assessed if the student begins the registration process after the early registration period which ends on the Sunday before classes begin.
Summer Session at UH Hilo includes the four-week interim session, beginning the Monday after the end of the Spring semester, and the six-week regular session, beginning in mid-June and ending in late July. Registration for both session begins early in April and is accomplished using MyUH Services.
Continuing UH Hilo students can register seamlessly for UH Hilo Summer Session courses; other students must apply for admission to the Summer Session, using the application form at: hilo.hawaii.edu/admissions/Apply.php
Tracking Enrollment in Courses
Enrollments in courses in the current semester and, after early registration begins, for the following semester can be tracked by going to your MyUH Services account and choosing “Class availability”; or by going directly to
