Biological Safety
The Biological Safety Program (BSP) provides faculty and staff with support and training in biosafety to reduce risks of occupational exposure to biohazardous materials. The goal of the Biosafety Program is to increase awareness; knowledge and understanding of basic principles and potential dangers associated with working with biological materials. By providing researchers with these foundations, they are able to conduct research activities in a safe environment.
The program consists of a Biosafety Training Program and a Biological Commodities Procurement Program
The Biological Safety Program is administered through the UH Mānoa Office of the Vice-Chancellor for Research and Graduate Education.
