  • Notes from the ACCFSC meeting on November 17, 2017
    • Discussion of Regent's Policy on Faculty Involvement in Academic Decision-Making and Academi Policy Development
    • Discussion of caps for online classes
      • Research indicates that 20-25 students is a good range with 24 students being ideal for effective teaching and learning.
      • Other campuses have established 25 as a maximum for online classes with variations approves by the Distance Learning Committee or equivalent campus entity.
      • All agreed that the cap on any class (whether face-to-face, via distance or HOT (here or there), should truly depend upon the type of class and content provided.
    • Discussion of Call for Legislative Action from Senator Kai Kahele
      • ACCFSC would like to coordinate the proposed legislative action, joining forces amond campuses as appropriate.
