SSSP Peer Mentoring
Our Peer Mentors are experienced UH Hilo students in their Junior and Senior year who entered UH Hilo as a Freshman or transfer student and have successfully transitioned to the university setting. Our Peer Mentors are in the SSSP program and first generation college students. The goal of our Peer Mentoring program is to create a supportive community of peers and to develop the personal, academic, and leadership skills of first generation college students at UH Hilo.
