Daniel G. Fox Prize for Excellence in Computer Science

Deadline: March 1


  • Graduating seniors with a Computer Science major
  • Full-time student in the College of Arts & Sciences at UH Hilo for at least 12 months prior to being considered for the prize.
  • Must have been declared Computer Science major for at least 12 months prior to being considered for the prize
  • Must have completed sufficient courses so that he/she is within two semesters of graduation with Computer Science degree.
  • Must have a minimum GPA of 3.0

Deutscher Akademinscher Austausch Dienst (DAAD)

(Study Abroad Scholarship)

Deadline: January 31

Purpose: German Academic Exchange Service, Undergraduate Scholarship. The goal of this scholarship is to support undergraduate students to study abroad in Germany and at German universities. It is open to US students of all academic fields, participating in a 4-10 month study program in Germany.

Eligibility: Students must be of Sophomore or Junior standing at time of application.

Doris and Clarence Glick Classical Music Scholarship Fund

Eligibility: Established in 1996 through the will of Clarence Glick, a long time teacher at the University of Hawai’i, this scholarship perpetuates the Glicks’ love for classical music.


  • Major in Music with emphasis on classical music.
  • Be a resident of the State of Hawaiʻi
  • Demonstrate financial need
  • Attend an accredited two or four year college or university as either an undergraduate or graduate student
  • Be a full-time student
  • Maintain a minimum 2.7 GPA
