UH Hilo Retirees: Student Life Center Membership

The Early Bird membership is the only membership option available.

Retirees (from UH Hilo) are defined as individual with 5 years' service to the University & eligible for retirement benefits. Retirees must be in good standing with the University. Retirees may use Student Life Center facilities upon verification of their former employment. Retirees may purchase a Student Life Center Early Bird membership for the same fee charged to faculty/staff members. Verification of employment records must be provided by the applicant. Proof of retirement benefits is acceptable. After I.D./document confirmation, the Retiree can pay the fee for the Early Bird membership (credit card, cash or check). Credit card payment is the only option for a monthly membership plan.

Retiree ID

After payment, a Student Life Center Retiree Early Bird membership ID card will be created at the same location (a ID photo will be taken) to allow immediate usage of the facility. The Student Life Center Early Bird membership card must be presented to the front desk staff every time the member enters the building.
