Journey through the Universe: Sci Night

Location: UH Hilo Science and Technology Building (STB) 108

As part of Black History Month, DNA: Sharing our HueMan Heritage, we present Journey through the Universe Family Science Night. Featuring Dr. Derrick Pitts, Senior Scientist and Chief Astronomer at the Franklin Institute in Philadelphia.

6pm - Informational Booths and Meet & Greet
7pm - Brian Day (Lunar Science Institute, NASA Ames) - The New Moon
8pm - Dr. Derrick Pitts - "The New Space Race Astronomy & Space Exploration on the Edge of Tomorrow"
