Philanthropy: A Golden Thread that Connects Us All
Join our Kuleana and Community Talk Story with Malu Debus!
Malu Debus, born and raised in Hilo, dedicates herself to our community through the perpetuation of Hawaiian language, supporting vulnerable populations through her role as Hawaiʻi Island’s Philanthropy Advisor at Hawaiʻi Community Foundation, and enlivening the arts world through performance.
Philanthropy sits at the core of community and is bound by every action threaded with aloha. Learn about some of the incredible ways our community continues to show up for one another on micro and macro levels, how Hawaiʻi Community Foundation elevates community voice, and ways to weave your golden thread into the spaces you love.
