Kāpala & Create
Location: Campus Center Plaza
Curious to try something creative while learning about culture and tradition? This hands-on experience invites you to explore the traditional Hawaiian art of ʻohe kāpala (bamboo stamping) by creating your own prints using carved designs. As you create, you’ll also learn about the cultural history and meaning behind kāpala patterns, making this both a creative and meaningful way to connect with art, storytelling, and cultural expression.
