Lā Honua / Earth Day Celebration
Location: Campus Center Plaza, Library Lanai
The Lā Honua / Earth Day committee is hosting the 37th annual Lā Honua / Earth Day Celebration on the UH Hilo campus on April 17th from 8:30 to noon. The celebration brings local keiki from grades K-12th, UH Hilo and HawCC college students, together with conservation and environmental organizations, agencies, and groups engaging in conservation and environmental work in Hawai'i. Although this event is geared towards K-12 with activities, face painting, and workshops, UH Hilo and HawCC college students are welcomed and encouraged to walk through the exhibit tables and talk with presenters.
