Lau Kuiki Tote Bags

Location: Campus Center 301

Aloha Kākou and Hau'oli Mau Lānui (Happy Holidays) to everyone! We invite you to join us for a delightful event where you can explore the art of Hawaiian quilt making and create your own Tote Bag with a Hawaiian Lau Kuiki (Quilt Design). This is a fantastic opportunity to immerse yourself in the rich Hawaiian culture and get creative. Warm up with a cup of hot chocolate or coffee, perfect for the holiday season with savor locally made mochi, a sweet and chewy treat that is a favorite during the holiday season in Hawaiʻi. Enjoy the soothing sounds of Hawaiian music that will transport you to the living room of a Local Hawaiian Household or even into the work room of a quilt maker. Don't forget to bring your creative spirit! We look forward to sharing the aloha spirit with you in a uniquely Hawaiian way. Mahalo, see you all there!

Special Restrictions: Must present UH Hilo student ID with FA23UHH-CB or FA23UHHSAC validation to participate.
