Speak out: LGBTQ+ Adults and Health Disparities

Please join the UH Hilo Student Association (UHHSA) for our virtual speaker event on Friday, December 1st, from 9:00AM-10:00AM HST.

Our featured speaker is Ryan K. Sallans, MA who is an inspirational transgender speaker and author who specializes in inclusion, diversity, and healthcare. Ryan will discuss the impact of ongoing societal stigmas and prejudices on the health of LGBTQ adults and how medical providers can reduce barriers to care and improve patient outcomes.

Special Restrictions: Must be a current UH Hilo student. Maximum capacity of 100 people.
