The Metaphysics of Abstraction III

Location: Campus Center Room 301

The UH Hilo Black History Month Committee invites you to our kickoff event tonight.

This event features the opening of the Art Installation "The Metaphysics of Abstraction III" featuring artists Danny Simmons, Gail Shaw-Clemmons, Gary Grant and Lisa Corrine Davis, a Gospel performance by Shallon Toré, and a presentation by Steve Martin entitled "The Black Da Vinci Code Decoded", a powerful presentation about the origins of the Black Diasporas Pre-Transatlantic Slave Trade.

Refreshments provided. Students and community are welcome! UCB 301, doors open at 6pm.

This event is Co-sponsored by the Office of Equal Opportunity, Art Department, and UH Hilo Campus Center Art Gallery.
