Art for Everyone: Japanese Woodblock Printing

Learn traditional Japanese woodblock printing methods and techniques in this non-credit class. Instructions will include preparation of washi paper, image transfer, cutting blocks, and printing techniques, as well as some history and vocabulary. Required materials will be provided for use during this workshop, and students will be able to take home a set of woodblock cutting tools as well as their finished designs and prints. Ages 15 and up.

3 classes, Saturday 10/5, 10/12, 10/19 from 9:00am-12:30pm. Cost $145.00.
