Aloha ʻĀina Maunakea: Voices of the Land

In celebration of Earth Day 2019 events on the UH Hilo campus and support of an action under UH Hilo's strategic plan to enhance our partnerships with the community to responsibly preserve, protect and sustain natural and cultural resources of Maunakea, I am pleased to share the following presentation:

Presented by Luana Busby-Neff and Leilani Kaapuni and facilitated by Dr. Manulani Meyer, Director for Kulana o Kapolei, A Hawaiian Place of Learning at the University of Hawaii West Oahu, the presentation will be a cultural perspective of the kuleana (responsibility) of two Hawaiian practitioners on Maunakea.
