KĪhei Protocol Forum

Location: TBA

Participants of our UH Hilo Fall 2018 Commencement Ceremony are invited to attend this KĪhei protocol forum to learn and understand the significance of this Hawaiian torso-wrap. UH Hilo is part of a movement in higher education to transform universities into academic institutions that reflect the culture and values of the land and communities. Within this movement, diversity, inclusion and indigenous values are pillars to the success of the institution, their learners and communities. Come and learn about KĪhei traditions and protocols!

Special Restrictions: Participants should be intending to graduate from UH Hilo in Fall 2018 and planning to walk in the Commencement Ceremony.
