Break Thru Adventures (BTA) Participant Application Deadline

Hey Vulcans!

If any of you are interested in joining Break Thru Adventures as a participant remember that the final deadline to apply is January 14, 2019, with a priority deadline on November 16. By turning in your application by Nove 16 we are locking in your spot for the trip, while if you wait until Jan 14 your attendance is pending available space. Break Thru Adventures is where groups of students travel to different islands in the state and serve the local communities in various ways. Typically, each group is comprised of 8-12 students, with 2-4 groups taking part in the trip. BTA is an alternative to a traditional spring break vacation. Our program is a service-learning vehicle designed to impact students by offering life-changing experiences and a catalyst to create positive change in the communities we visit. Each site will allow participants to connect with other students, the land we are working, and to network with public and private community partners.

Break Thru Adventures will be held during Spring Break, March 17-23 of the Spring 2019 semester.
