UH Hilo First Year Experience (FYE) program is hosting a First 6 session in Student Services Center (SSC) W-201 (fishbowl) at 2:00 PM.

Come down to learn about the art of Traditional Hei (Hawaiian String figures). The goal is to teach new students hei chants with the accompanying traditional string figures followed by a discussion about how creating the hei with the chant might support personal and community well-being.

These events are free for all UH Hilo students and we look forward to you learning more about the campus resources and departments this beautiful campus has to offer.
