QPR Suicide Prevention Gatekeeper Training

Location: SSC W-201

Student Health & Wellness Program's Nā Kiaʻi O Ke Ola Suicide Prevention Program invites you to attend a QPR Suicide Prevention Gatekeeper Training on Wednesday, September 5, 2018.

Question, Persuade, Refer (QPR), is an evidence-based suicide prevention program that teaches gatekeepers (people who want to help prevent suicide) how to identify the risk factors and warning signs of suicide, how to ask someone if they are thinking about suicide, persuade them to seek help, and refer them to the appropriate resources.

To register, please email us at shwp@hawaii.edu.

Note: If you have suffered a recent loss (in the past year) especially to suicide, you may find this training difficult and are cautioned against participating.
