Paper Tigers Movie and Discussion

Location: UCB 100

Paper Tigers is a film documentary that tells a story about students from high-school who are exposed to sustained toxic stress and trauma, such as poverty, unstable homes, parental drug abuse or mental illness and abandonment.

The film focuses on the need for educators and schools to understand and to take into account the effect which sustained stress and trauma has on the developing brain and on behavior.
