2018 Ka Lama Ku Student Leadership Recognition Awards

Location: UH Hilo Dining Hall

Nominations are now being accepted for the UH Hilo's Ka Lama Ku Student
Leadership Recognition Awards for the 2017-2018 school year.

Both the University and community-at-large are eligible to nominate students
who are a Fall 2017 graduate, or a currently enrolled student with 6 or more
credits with a cumulative 2.5 GPA to be recognized for their formal and
informal leadership roles. Students can be nominated individually or within
a group, team or organization in the following categories:

路 ALAKAI-Leadership
路 IKE PAPALUA-To Have the Gift of Vision
路 KULEANA-We Are Accountable and Responsible
路 LAULIMA-No Task is too Big When Done by All
路 MALAMA-Taking Care of Others.

Nomination Forms and criteria are available at
hilo.hawaii.edu/campuscenter/leadership/ or you may contact
kalamaku@hawaii.edu for further info. Only printed nominations and essays
will be accepted and must be submitted by 3:00 PM on Tuesday, April 10,
2018, to Campus Center Rm 309.

Recognition Awards will be announced at the Student Recognition Ceremony on
Wednesday, May 2, 2018, from 6:30-8:30 PM in the UH Hilo Dining Hall. Ohana,
friends and community members are welcome to join us!
