What makes Maunakea the best astronomical site in the world?

Location: ╩╗Imiloa Astronomy Center

A Maunakea Speaker Series presentation by Mark Chun, University of Hawai'i's Institute for Astronomy. Mark will discuss what site qualities are desirable for ground-based astronomy, how these qualities compare to astronomical telescope sites across the globe, and how Maunakea's uniqueness translates into new discoveries.
