Clothesline Project

Location: CC Plaza

The Women’s Center at the University of Hawai`i at Hilo will commemorate Domestic Violence Awareness Month by hosting the annual Clothesline Project. The event is free and open to the public.

The Clothesline Project aims to raise awareness about domestic violence. Participants are invited to come by the Campus Center Plaza to decorate a T-shirt that will raise awareness within the campus community. T-shirts will be prominently displayed in the Plaza for the week of October 18th – October 25th.

UH Hilo’s LGBTQ+ Center, Office of Equal Opportunity, and Child and Family Service Hilo will be joining us to offer their support and to provide resources for participants.
