Therapeutic Yoga

Location: Old Gym

Therapeutic yoga involves gentle, intelligent sequencing of movements to help your body find its most comfortable natural state. This class is wonderful for all levels of participants, but will involve work on the floor.

September 5 - November 14, 2017, Tuesdays

Instructor: Catherine Southern
Catherine Southern has many years of experience in both practicing and teaching a blend of Iyengar, an alignment based system, and viniyoga. Her emphasis is on gentle body movement and modification of postures for the individual student. Presently, she teaches at Yoga Centered Studio & Boutique in Hilo, as well as through County Parks and Recreation.

Special Restrictions: Tuition: $80
Required: Yoga mat and water. Wear comfortable clothing that allows for a full range of movement.
