The Blue Zones Project-Live Happy with Purpose

Location: Campus Center 306

Join us in the Blue Zones Project Workshop, "live HAPPY with PURPOSE," on Wednesday, April 12, 2017 at 5:30 - 7:30 PM in Campus Center 306. Learn and engage yourself in this Purpose Workshop where "investing in ourselves, and trying new things are important parts of connecting with purpose. Having a sense of purpose can help us live up to 7 years longer because we're friends and want to live longer together." Take part in this workshop and learn more about the Blue Zones Project, founded by National Geographic fellow, Dan Buettner, on taking charge of your health, refreshing the way you eat and adding more vital years to your life. Participants will have an opportunity to discover themselves through the use of the "Finding Your Purpose Workbook" and sample some Blue Zone recipes. Students, faculty, staff and the UH Hilo community are welcome to join us in this training being collaborated with the Ka Lama Ku Student Leadership Development Program, the Blue Zones Project by Healthways, HMSA and Sodexo. UH Hilo students can apply this session toward the Ka Lama Ku Certificate of Leadership.
