Volcano National Park Photography Course

Location: PB 7

Tuesday 5/2/17 & Thursday 5/4/17, 4:30pm - 6:30pm: Classroom component:
Classroom sessions cover the basics of landscape photography including equipment considerations, composition, lighting, and camera technique.

Sunday 5/7/17, 8:00am - 2:00pm: Field component:
Field exercise (6 hours) Depart from UH Hilo (in UH vehicle or individual car pools) to be in-Park by 8 am. Photograph in 2-3 locations pending weather and prevailing site conditions. Depart to return to Hilo by 2:00pm.

4:30pm - 6:30pm & 8:00am - 2:00pm

Mark Watanabe
Taught by professional photographer and digital media arts instructor Mark Watanabe M.Ed. Mark was the marketing director for Food Fair Supermarkets, a professional studio photographer for over a decade, and is who presently a photography and graphic arts at Kea`au High School.

Special Restrictions: Required: Please wear comfortable clothing and shoes.
