Chinese New Year Celebration at UH Hilo Library Lanai

Location: UH Hilo Library Lanai

Happy Chinese New Year! It is Year of the Rooster. Come join us and celebrate Chinese Spring Festival at UH Hilo Library Lanai on 1/31 Tuesday, 9:30am-2:30pm. Enjoy:

--Taiji Boxing, Martial Arts performances
--folk dancing performance
--"Photo Corner": take a picture with traditional Chinese spring couplets, beautiful new year decorations, & traditional Chinese costumes!
--zodiac signs, paper crafts, calligraphy, painting, blooming tea display, and posters introducing Chinese new year customs, and more!
--Chinese language signs: learn how to say "Spring Festival", "Wish you a prosperous year in the Year of Rooster", "peace", "friendship", etc.
--share the excitements of students and get to know Chinese Studies Certificate!
