Film Screening: "Ola- Health is Everything"

Location: Wentworth Hall Room 1

Join us for a special screening of “Ola – Health is Everything” on Thursday, January 26 at 5 p.m. in the University of Hawaiʻi at Hilo Wentworth Hall Room 1.Wentworth Hall is located on the hill between Kanakaʻole Hall (K Building) and the Marine Science Building.

The Hawaiʻi documentary premiered at the Hawaiʻi International Film Festival in April 2013. It highlights the power of communities to heal, explores how society must rethink what it means to be healthy, and portrays individuals who bring hope to communities across Hawaiʻi. A Q & A will follow the screening with the film's Director, Matthew Nagato.

This event is co-sponsored by UH Hilo Student Health & Wellness Programs, Nā Kiaʻi O Ke Ola (Guardians of Life) Suicide Prevention Committee, and the East Hawaiʻi Suicide Prevention TaskForce.
